NetCB Solutions (Pty) Ltd has now formally launched their training division - the Open Training Institute on 2nd April 2008.  We specifically selected the 2nd of April before anyone thinks it is an April Fools Day joke if we launched it on 1st of April, but let us get serious now.

The Open Training Institute is primarily targeting the Novell and Linux training needs that has now started to increased to a huge demand for training.  Recent acquisitions and release of new versions of Novell technology products have created a void where most of these specialist technologies have no base for training in Africa.  The Open Training Institute has begun a process of ensuring that teachers and trainers will have a platform from where these specialist courses can be presented.

The Open Training Institute makes use of system engineers and technology specialists that have in depth field experience through their work at NetCB Solutions and other partner companies of NetCB.  The Open Training Institute has endeavoured to make sure that the teachers presenting these classes are specialists in their fields with the necessary practical experience.  This ensures that the knowledge that is transferred during these classes will not only be theoretical knowledge, but real world experiences that you will never find in any course manual.

The richness of the classes that will be brought to the public over the next few months will come from a collective effort from many technology specialists, locally in South Africa but also from the rest of the world.

• Novell Teaming + Conferencing
• Novell Identity Manager
