African Summit 2010

14 to 16 April

The African Summit is the highlight of the local Open Horizons Africa events calender.  For 2010, the event will be hosted by The Mother City.
Cape Town and the Western Cape is a cosmopolitan destination where cultural diversity creates an exciting vibrancy and adds to its creativity.
It takes its name from the term “Cape of Good Hope”, rounded for the first time in 1482 by the Portuguese explorer Bartholomew Diaz.

Open Horizons Africa proudly presents the African Summit 2010 hosted in The Mother City.

No other city in the world can be compared to Cape Town.  Often referred to as a piece of Europe on the African continent, this city is a melting pot of diverse cultures, rich with history, and an eternal connection with Europe through the Dutch East Indian Company. The fast pace and bright lights of the urban center juxtaposed with the pristine coastlines and magnificent countryside creates an exhilarating locale.

From 14 to 16 April 2010 the Mother City will play host to the Open Horizons African Summit.
